job description

This is an exciting and varied role, providing specialist subject matter expertise for remuneration, benefits and HR systems alongside HR projects.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Head of People, you will join the broader HR team and provide specialist subject matter expertise for remuneration, benefits and HR systems. It requires someone with a commercial attitude who is agile and looking for a broad role where they can also contribute outside of the typical ‘Rem & Ben’ silo.

  • Manage all facets of Compensation and Benefits
  • Position/job grading/broad banding for the business
  • Position Description management within conjunction with broader HR team
  • External market research by tapping into market remuneration data sources
  • Collect data and prepare reports to provide advice to management on individual salary treatment and interpretations.
  • Manage the annual salary review and STI process
  • Management of employee benefits programs
  • Design, develop and deliver end to end holistic compensation calculations in line with established policies, processes and procedures to meet manager and organisational needs.
  • Completion of external reporting requirements e.g. WGEA
  • Manage master data audits with the HR system
  • Updating of Organisational Structure and charts via the HRIS
  • HR dashboard reporting, HR metrics and analytics

You

  • 5 years’ Rem&Ben experience with preferred experience within a large heavy industry environment
  • Proven experience in implementing and driving effective performance and reward strategies and frameworks
  • Strategic thinker with superior analytical skills and commercial acumen
  • Understanding of different Job Evaluation Methodologies
  • Significant experience working with large HRIS and enterprise systems such as Oracle, SAP, WorkDay, Kronos Workforce Management, Chris 21 or similar
  • Agile, flexible, resilient and ability to collaborate with stakeholders across the business along with the broader HR team
